Interface

Interface areas of Time Sled are as follows:

Area of Current Tasks. Displays the tasks you are working on during the day, their states and parameters.

Projects list. Hierarchial list of your projects and tasks. When you are start new task this one is automatically saves in projects list.

Activity log. This area displays the logged records on when and what you have been working on.

Main menu.

The action File allows using the following functionality:

Options. Opens the Settings window of the program.

Open DB. Gets displayed when using Lotus Notes. It opens the Time Sled Log Database in the Lotus Notes Client.

Reporter. Gets displayed if TS Log is being used. It opens the window TS Reporter.

You may set the program's Interface according to your preferences with the help of the option View in the main menu:

Projects. This option controls the visibility of the Projects list.

Log. This option controls the visibility of the Activity protocol area.

Rate. This option controls the visibility of rate values for current tasks and the total rate value in the status line.

Tool bars. This option controls the visibility of bars with the buttons of quick access that duplicate the functionality of the main menu for the user's convenience.

The action Project allows you modify your projects. All actions of this item are described in Project list section.

The action Task allows you work with tasks.

Start new. Allows to start a new task. Details...

Pause. Allows to pause running task. Details...

Stop. Allows stop running or paused task. Details...

Task properties. Allows to manage properties of a task selected in the list of projects. Details…

Add to project. Allows to add new task to project list. Details...

Delete from project. Allows to delete selected task from projects list. Details...

Insert to log. Allows to insert record to log. Details...

Delete from log. Allows to delete record from log. Details...

Change log record. Allows to change properties of the selected log record. Details...

You will get access to the program registration through the Help option (About Time Sled option). Using the same option you may access the Help file (Time Sled Help option).
