System modules The System consists of two (2) modules: Changes Saver Monitor (chsaver.exe) and Changes Saver agent (veragent.exe). Changes Saver Agent Changes Saver agent constantly watches indicated files and if their modification date changes, it saves a file copy that is its version. This module has to be permanently present in the computer’s memory; otherwise the System will not work. It is recommended to include this module in the Windows startup list. At each loading, the module checks if there is an entry on its auto-loading in the Windows Registry. At loading, the module places its icon in the Windows taskbar tray. Left-clicking on the icon calls the module Changes Saver Monitor. Right-clicking on the icon calls the context menu, with which help it is also possible to call the module Changes Saver Monitor or unload Changes Saver agent from memory. Changes Saver Monitor This module allows to manage the list of files that are being observed by the Changes Saver agent, change parameters of their backup copying, view and delete versions. The module is called either by the tray-icon Changes Saver Agent, or using the menu Start\Programs\Changes Saver\Changes Saver Monitor. The Monitor interface consists of the following sections: |
